During this time, you may make benefits changes through Wolverine Access Benefits Self-Service as often as you wish until 5:00 p.m. on October 30. Changes and new rates take effect January 1, 2021.
If you are happy with your benefits, you do not need to do anything to keep them—except for Flexible Spending Accounts. IRS rules do not allow FSA enrollments to continue from one year to the next. You will need to re-enroll if you wish to participate in 2021. Learn more about FSAs.
New Health Plan Option
Eligible faculty, staff and retirees will have an additional health plan choice for 2021. The university will add Michigan Care, a new managed care plan, to the available options. Enrollment in Michigan Care is limited to those who live in a specific geographic area in Southeast Michigan. Learn more about Michigan Care and see if you are eligible to enroll.
